Have been getting “educated” this past week by three adorable kids who needed a “Day Care Lady” ASAP — their Mom died of cancer two months ago; their sitter gave a week’s notice that she was moving out of state… It was a need I felt compelled to fill and I’ve been LOVING it (and laughing!) ever since.

Erin (5 yr old girl) amazed me by saying that her favorite song is “Standing On The Promises” — then proceeded to sing it to me. When she paused during the chorus, I prompted: “safe and secure…” and Erin rolled her eyes and said: “NO! That’s ‘Leanin’ On The Everlasting Arms.’” (!!!) I think she and Caleb ought to meet one day…

Well, gotta get to it — weekend time is even more precious now, being away during the week. Take care and remember, you’re on the HOME STRETCH stretch with your book/study — “He who began a good work in you will be faithful to complete it!” (Phil. 1:6)
